Ramtech’s Bruna Esposito named finalist for International Woman of the Year

Her nomination at the Women in Fire Safety Awards highlights the role of leadership in Ramtech and Orama Group international growth

Bruna Esposito, Business Unit Director at Ramtech, has been named finalist in the International Woman of the Year category at the 2026 Women in Fire Safety Awards. The winners will be announced on 15th October at the Mercure London Earl’s Court Hotel.

Bruna is the first woman to hold the Unit Director role at Ramtech. Her nomination recognises her leadership of a business that is growing internationally, developing its technology and applying its fire and life safety expertise across increasingly varied environments.

In the past, the category has recognised women working in different parts of the international fire safety sector. In 2024, the award was presented jointly to Iza Tekielak-Skałka of SMAY and Salma Humaid Saeed Al Ali of Dubai Civil Defence. In 2025, it went to Sandra Sykas-Taylor of Design Confidence. Bruna’s place on this year’s shortlist puts her among leaders whose work is shaping the industry across national boundaries.

For Ramtech and the wider Orama Group, her story also raises a practical question: how do businesses create opportunities for talented people to lead that growth? Representation has a greater impact when it comes with the authority to make decisions, develop teams and influence the direction of a business. Bruna’s role brings those responsibilities together.

Since taking up the position, she has focused on strengthening Ramtech’s operations, supporting colleagues across its international business and building lasting relationships with customers and partners. Reflecting on her first year in the role, Bruna said: “Sustainable growth is not simply about moving faster.”

That approach has accompanied Ramtech’s continued expansion, including investment in its North American operations and projects in sectors beyond its longstanding construction market. For Bruna, the progress is a shared achievement. “What I am most proud of is what we have achieved together as a global team,” she said.

Her nomination follows earlier recognition for Ramtech’s technology. The company won Fire Hardware/Software Vendor of the Year at the Security and Fire Excellence Awards for its WES3 wireless fire safety system and its work on the Intelliclad solution. This year’s shortlist places attention on the leadership and people helping to shape the next stage of the business.

Across Orama Group, growth depends on connecting expertise across teams, markets and disciplines. Giving women the opportunity to progress into senior roles strengthens that leadership and brings a wider range of experience into decisions about products, people and future markets. Bruna’s nomination is a recognition of what that can look like in practice.

The Women in Fire Safety Awards recognise achievements across the fire safety industry. Organiser Western Business Media received a record 254 entries for the 2026 awards.
