As of 2024, Orama Group will be one of the biggest sponsors of Envol Swimrun. Envol Swimrun is an association that organises numerous swimrun events all around the world. The collaboration with Envol started last year with Orama Group sponsoring two elite swimrunners, Sabina Rapelli and Alexis Charrier. Additionally, Orama Group engaged Envol coaches to implement a comprehensive wellbeing program for its employees. «The project intends to give a chance to our people to be more active and to go out and feel more fit and healthy – declares Giorgio Koursaris, Managing director of Orama Group – After the success of the 2023 experience, we want to increase our staff involvement because this project embodies our values of innovation, collaboration, healthy competition and fairness». Orama not only articulates but also concretely realises its commitment to building a safer world through innovation. Internally, this dedication is exemplified by a series of initiatives dedicated to enhancing employee wellbeing and encouraging healthy habits, in perfect alignment with the overarching vision of creating a better world. This commitment seamlessly aligns with Envol Swimrun’s vision for a more active and healthy world.
Envol Swimrun is providing the best coaches in order to train and help those who wish to participate. «We want to underline the importance of providing the opportunity for everybody to feel more confident with themselves» concludes Koursaris.
Confidence and consistency are the key to wellbeing
Confidence is the main core value of Envol: «We want to show them that they can do things, they can start somewhere. Everybody can be active, they don’t have to be concerned. If they don’t feel like a super athlete to start being active and caring about their fitness – affirms Nicolas Remires, coach and founder of Envol Swimrun – The hope is that, through this program, participants can transfer this confidence to their workplace».
The mission of this partnership is to have a positive effect on the participants’ lives not only when it comes to fitness but also at work.
In the last year the group has shown a consistent commitment to the growth and development of its employees.
Thanks to the “Orama 100% Wellbeing” initiative, which includes personalised training programs and sports events, tools are also integrated to preserve and nurture one’s wellbeing during working hours.
«We trust that the increased confidence from physical wellbeing will bring a positive energy to the workplace as well – declares Remires -. Even if you just exercise 15 minutes a day, it’s better than not doing anything at all!».
Running a better world together
The Orama Group hopes that the coaches and the leaders will inspire the employees and start some local projects. This is because: «Fostering more personalised connections by providing individuals with someone to talk to is essential».
Orama Group, as the main sponsor of Envol Swimrun, intends to invite more people to participate in these events. Koursaris believes that these moments provide a great opportunity for the teams to come together: «to celebrate our yearly results and to talk about our shared vision and future».
