Orama’s Sponsored Swimrun Athletes become World Champions
Orama couldn’t be prouder of Alexis and Sabina, two intrepid athletes, who have recently become World Champions of Swimrun in their respective categories. The World Championships were held, as always, in the Stockholm Archipelago between two islands: Sandhamn in the north, and Utö in the south.
Nicolas Remires, founder of Envol, recalls the time he first met Alexis and Sabina: «When they first came to train with me they were definitely not as fit as today. Sabina was a very poor swimmer back in 2013/2014, so she had to train very hard to achieve this title».
The two athletes perfectly represent what Orama believes in, perseverance and wellbeing. Alexis and Sabina worked hard, nothing was handed to them, and, although not everyone is expected to become a Swimrun World Champion, they should inspire people to push boundaries and train hard to achieve their goals.
«I think this is an inspiration for employees of Orama. – explains Nicolas Remires – It has to be seen as an inspiration, a motivation, so that employees can be like ‘wow! These people are so dedicated and they managed to do it’».
At Orama Group, wellbeing is a core value that influences everything we do. It’s not just about physical health but also includes mental, emotional, and professional satisfaction. We believe that when everyone—employees, partners, and stakeholders—feels balanced and supported, they are more motivated and productive, leading to exceptional results.
The entire Orama team is immensely proud of Alexis and Sabina’s success. Their achievement is a shining example of how commitment to one’s goals can lead to extraordinary results, inspiring others to work hard for both personal and professional wellbeing.
